Sex Is In The Mind, Not On The Chin

TUT tut tut. We are afraid, dear reader, that this leader is about sex. Those who find this distasteful should shut their eyes before reading on. The reason for this regrettable lapse in standards is The Joy Of Sex, the '70s classic, which has been updated to take account of surprising new developments in sex. We thought sex had stayed the same for 500,000 years or so, but no. For a start, facial hair is no longer necessary. The original edition, readers will recall, indicated beardless sex was a painful and emotionally damaging process - or at least, we think it said that. We never actually read the text, which looked the tiniest bit dull. We just looked at the pictures, in which all the men were resolutely fuzz-faced. It was dark under the sofa at the time, you understand, and the batteries in our torch were not the newest, so we couldn't really take in much detail. We know now though, that when it comes to sex, the size of your beard doesn't matter. We're shaving this morning.
